About The Barcia & DeLuca Families
Please sign in to see more.
First of all, I would like to dedicate this website to all the members of the Barcia and DeLuca Families. I would also like to say thank you to all who have helped me along the way. You know who you are, and without all of your help, I would not have gotten as far as I did. Thank you very Much.

Let me tell you a little bit about my family.

My ancestors traveled from Italy to America at the turn of the 20th Century. By 1905, my relatives were making New York their home. Most of the family migrated to Brooklyn, and some made their way to the Bronx. My Paternal Grandparents were Thomas and Philomena Barcia. They were both born in America. Their parents were born in Italy. My Great-Great-Grandmother, Josephine Burriesi Barcia came to the United States in 1900. She was 51 Years old. My Great-Great-Grandfather, Francesco Barcia, Died in Italy. I don`t have the time frame in which my paternal Great-Grandparents came to America, but the guess is around the 1900`s. Great-Grandmother Santa Ranieri DeLuca came to America when she was 38 years old in 1900. Her Husband, Vincenzo DeLuca came to America in 1899. My Paternal Great-Grandparents were from Mezzojuso, a small town in Palermo, Sicily. My Maternal Great Grandparents were from a town called Gallico-Marina. My Paternal Great Grandparents were Barcia and SanFillipo, and my Maternal Great Grandparents were Ranieri & DeLuca.
I have met many cousins along the way, that without this endeavor of mine, would not have been possible.

I am the eldest daughter of Vincent and Barbara Barcia. My Grandparents were Thomas
 and Philomena Barcia.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
